..how i wish..



i made dis poem for my midterm in english. i think, it now fits me.=(

“SUNLESS HOURS”

When the bright lamp is carried in
The sunless hours again begin
Teardrops are starting to fall
But you don’t really care at all.

Looking through the hourglass
Reminiscing our time
The rain pouring on our window
Hearing the sounds of the chime

Oh how I wish I hear your voice again!
Oh how I wish you’re not this barren!

Today is different from our yesterday
You think twice, oh yeah the sunless hours again begin
Left out in the corner with my coat and coffee
Wishing you are here sitting beside me

Now that you're back leaning on my shoulder
You and I promised to be together
No one can ever stop us with the gleams of our smiles
That the past can never be repeated even if we go for miles.
